CCW Trainers

There are many opportunities for you to participate in building and strengthening our community. CCW Defenders of Michigan, LLC is a community of citizens, CPL trainers, self-defense trainers, firearms dealers and other members of the self defense community who are committed to personal self-defense and firearms education. Members of our community who also train others in the basic CPL (concealed pistol license) class and/or teach advanced techniques are a valuable part of our organization. Within the CCW Defenders of Michigan, LLC community, we refer those individuals as Training Advocates. Training Advocates must have appropriate instructor’s credentials and experience in teaching armed self-defense and/or the basis course for the Michigan CPL. They also need to belong to our community and commit themselves to our principles of education, continued training and self defense.

In addition to recognizing your role as a Training Advocate, there are also other incentives. These include access to our trainer’s section of the website and access to the bulletin board to announce your classes which will be coming up. If you wish, you can receive a CCW Defender e-mail address for your business with our office. For members you do recruit, there is special web access which you will be granted to contact those members directly through the website.

We have generous financial awards for members who join our community. In addition to sharing the fee structure, we also have established a long term renewal structure that involves you directly. Our members can be awarded CCW Defender Training Endorsements from you, the Training Advocate, for each 8 hour session of training they receive. These Training Endorsements allow members who renew their membership to reduce their renewal fee by $10. They may do this up to three times bringing their total renewal costs down to only $50 per year. In addition to these benefits, there are many more resources available to you.
