Who Are CCW Defenders Attorneys?

CCW Defenders of Michigan, LLC offers a critically important service to members of our community.  When a shooting occurs, we provide experienced criminal defense attorneys to respond to our members’ needs and protect their rights when they need us the most.  All of our attorneys are licensed in Michigan IN CRIMINAL DEFENSE PRACTICE.  Timothy A. Dinan, our general counsel, leads the research, writing and training of these attorneys.  Before any of the attorneys are entrusted with members’ legal affairs, they must not only demonstrate their abilities, but also pass our “firearms bar exam” and take our class.

With over 250 separate laws which apply directly to CPL holders, CCW Defenders of Michigan, LLC requires our attorneys to be aware of these laws and understand how they impact our members in any incident.  Attorneys without a CPL are given the opportunity to obtain their CPL through our General Counsel’s office.

More importantly, our attorneys receive specialized training in dealing with police interrogations and learn how to conduct a pre-questioning interview with our members.  Our reporting forms and incident reconstruction techniques are more thorough and protective of our members’ interests.

All CCW Defenders attorneys are required to carry malpractice insurance. Our attorneys are regularly contacted and all of our response systems are regularly tested to make sure they available as promised.  All CCW Defenders of Michigan, LLC are also members of our community.
